It has become critical to consistently push myself out on a limb to bravely chart territory as an artist and as a person. By not stifling or limiting my vision—and staying open to new possibilities—the art takes me where it needs to.

​It’s exciting to be out on a limb to make sure that I stay inspired. What do I find inspiring?  The amazingness of nature and what is out there.  That bud opening! It is beautiful and there are so many little everyday nature sights that grab my attention: textures, surfaces, tree bark, patterns, and colors.
